Victoria’s premier house tour is back for it’s 60th anniversary! Brought to you by the Associates of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, this wonderful event features six of the city’s most spectacular and unique homes. Don’t wait to buy your ticket – they sell out every year!

Victoria’s premiere tour of spectacular houses for 60 years!  In its Diamond Anniversary year, the Art Gallery Associates proudly present six sparkling gems for your viewing.

Reflecting past years, your self directed tour will lead you to homes that will range from a sea side retreat in the City to a large country estate on the Saanich Peninsula.  You will find a very modern home on a city hill, a family home that is completely wheelchair accessible, a tastefully renovated older home, and homes that feature the latest in technology and efficiency, as well as the professional work of their owners.

Setting the Art Gallery House Tour apart from others is the “Art in the Garden” program which sees local artists at work on each site.  This year’s line-up features Robert Amos, Jennifer Lawson, Anne Popperwell, Maarten Schaddelee, Carollyne Yardley, and Kris Kibyuk.  In addition, the homes also feature flower arrangements created to complement each home by the Victoria Flower Arrangers Guild.

Tickets are limited, and since the House Tour began in 1953, sell-out crowds have been inspired by distinctive homes and gardens each year.  This is the single most important annual fundraiser produced by the Associates of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria.  The funds raised support the mandate of the Gallery, which includes the development of education as well as exhibition programming.

Please note that all of the homes involve some walking and stair climbing and are not suitable for those with limited mobility. Also, parking may not be close by in some cases.

Children under 12 are not permitted on the House Tour.

Tickets are $35 each and will be available after Wednesday, August 7 at the AGGV, all three Gardenworks,Peninsula Gallery in Sidney, and introducing online ticketing. Please remember last entry to homes is 4:45pm.
