Tasting notes from Companions of the Quaich dinner
Bulleit Bourbon
Nose: Like Canadian Rye, lemon, fruity, butter, pound cake,
Taste: minty, leather, sweet
Finish: mild pepper, dry, astringent
Knob Creek 9yo Bourbon
Nose: Light, brown sugar, floral, grape, plummy
Taste: soda, fizzy, wood, lacquer, grape, maple syrup
Finish: floral finish
Classic Cask 21 yo Kentuky Straight Rye Whisky
Nose: Vanilla, lemon, mint
Taste: floral, plum, raisin
Finish: hot pepper ending
