Treasures: The World’s Cultures from the British Museum @ The Royal BC Museum

I’ve been the the British Museum in London, England and it’s a lengthy visit. I imagine a trip to the Royal BC Museum, Victoria, British Columbia to see their exhibition, Treasures: The World’s Cultures from the British Museum, will be a nice, consolidated experience by comparison.

Treasures brings to the viewing public more than 300 distinctive artifacts from the collection of the British Museum. From million-year-old hand axes found in Africa’s Olduvai Gorge, to a 3,000-year-old mummy, to a throne built of decommissioned weapons from Mozambique’s late-20th century civil war. It will be worth a visit for the kids just to see the mummy!
