Olympia’s Grapes - more purple - Photoshop’d
I haven’t actually “painted” more purple colour on the canvas yet. I used Photoshop on the photograph of the piece to see what it would look like, before setting forth and making the updates. After working with software programs like Photoshop and Illustrator for 11 years in design and marketing, it’s a natural instinct when I ‘m painting to want to click “edit undo” after adding something I didn’t want to. So I’m trying out this new method (for me) to see if I can draft and plan out some changes in a preview, without committing the changes to the artwork.
I had the same experience with moving some furniture yesterday. After I moved a piece of furniture, I thought - hey LIFE - where’s the “edit undo” button. Come on - it’s got to be invented somewhere in the universe - with lots of people getting up to no good with it I’m sure :0)
Oops - Edit Undo! (I’m sure Brittney Spears could use the beta version to test it out).
