Lady Littlehead and the Pirate

Lady Littlehead and the Pirate

Title: Lady Littlehead and the Pirate, 18 X 24, Acrylic, Private Collection

”Why join the navy if you can be a pirate?” Steve Jobs

Well, looks like I’ve got a name for her, and she’s almost complete. Tiny bit more work on some edges, and volia! Enjoy.

I’m finding that a touch or surrealism is what I like, and adding some humour to my subject too.

Here’s another review I made up for myself: Carollyne Yardley’s paintings are inspired by colour, and colourful, classical, regal, high society, (or religious iconic) women-folk with huge eye-balls - comic book style, her paintings are a bit surreal and have an element of humour (because of Shakey)…..and she’s likes to use run-on sentences - alot.
