Whisky, Cashmere, and a Self Guided Art Tour of Edinburgh’s Art Museums, Scotland 2014

We toured from Elgin -> Pitlochry -> Edinburgh for some formal business and whisky celebrations. Along the way there was a trip to a woollen mill, and Scotland's National Galleries. Another quick photo gallery with highlights here:

I was fortunate enough to be given a lovely tour of Johnstons of Elgin, makers of cashmere and fine woollens, made in Scotland. Fascinating to see how cashmere goos are made from raw wool, through ancient machines, and hand craftsmanship to the final product.
